There’s only a few hours left until the Hair Fair comes to an end. It’s so sad that the event will be gone for an entire year, but, with this sad moment comes something awesome. Happy Bandana Day to all my daredolls and daredevils! ♥

The Hair Fair is winding down and if you haven’t been, now is the time to go! A visual shopping guide can be found here; along with Landmarks to each of the sims.

Also, keep in mind that Bandana Day is coming up. It’s a day we go without hair to show that we care. Residents from across the grid have submitted their bandana designs which are available for purchase at the fair. The bandanas are L$50 with 100% of the proceeds being donated to Wigs for Kids. They’re also transferable so you can pass them to your friends so they can celebrate and support as well!

Bandana day, as per tradition, will be on the last day of the fair (July 31st). Booths can be found on each of the sims. Feel free to find one on either sim as the selections are the same. ♥

Intensity

Helllooo lovelies! Pretty sure I’ve mentioned this before, but I am in love with the new hairbase releases from Just Magnetized! Also, speaking of all things Hair related, the Hair Fair is only a couple of days away. I’ve been seeing many WIPs from this year’s designers and I’m very excited to see what other styles will be available.

In preparation for the Hair Fair, one may choose to be prepared with a list to help get in and out of the event as quickly as possible. To make this a bit more simple, I suggest you join the Hair Fair DEMO Group. Hair demos from participating stores will be sent out on the 15th — the day before the fair opens.

Never Forget

It’s soooo early! Or late…one of those. Not sure anymore. I bring to youuuu me! I think this is actually the first post I’ve made with my current everyday skin. Hmmm…yes! Yes it is. Well, here you have it — what I have been looking like for some weeks now…for the most part. My beauty marks are missing. However, it is for an amazing reason! This new hair base from Just Magnetized. It is a long; especially in the fancy burn area. Because of this, it does take up the blush layer if you are using a mesh. I think it’s worth it…I mean my side burns have never looked so amazing. -flashes sideburns- I need a new profile image…oooh the responsibilities.

Ah, but before I present to you le credits, there is an even opening soon that you may be interested in. Opening at 11 am today (6/28) is the Pulse Fundraiser! So many amazing designers have come together to make this event possible. I have already visited and …well I have some decorating to do. XD

Daredolls…and le Daredevils! If you’re anything like me, you’re waiting for one of your favorite SLCharity events to begin.  Which one? Did you honestly forget about the Hair Fair?! Surely not. I mean, it hasn’t even been a year yet…Well, to help keep your anxious feelings at bay, I have some preliminary information for you all.

First up, the Hair Fair Photo Contest! Like taking pictures? Perhaps you like free hair and early access to buy hair? Well, for a shot at winning your picture displayed at the Hair Fair, or even some free fatpacks or early access for you and your babes, you still have time to enter this fun contest! They’re super generous and allow you 5 submissions…that’s like increasing your chances of winning. You know, technically speaking. ♥

The theme this year is ‘Whatever the Weather’.  It’s super simple as all you need to do is snap an image of you with some spiffy hair as it relates to how you tough out, or enjoy, the weather.  Hair all wet from the rain? Or maybe you’ve just taken a dive in the ocean on a sunny day.  For those winter lovers, don’t you adore snowflake covered hair?  Capture it!

Continuing on…(yep there is more important and uber cool information!). Bandana Kits are available! All bandanas made will be exclusively sold for the duration of Hair Fair 2016 in preparation for the heart-warming Bandana Day.

Per tradition Bandana Day the last day of the Hair Fair.  Residents across the grid are invited to wear bandanas (sans-hair!), to show that we care and support all the extraordinarily brave kids represented by the charity. 100% of sales from the bandanas will be donated to Wigs for Kids.  Interested? Oh, for the love of system skins…One definitely appreciate how The Skinnery still manages to toss in system skins in a pixel universe flooded by mesh…all day, everyday.
