Daredolls…and le Daredevils! If you’re anything like me, you’re waiting for one of your favorite SLCharity events to begin.  Which one? Did you honestly forget about the Hair Fair?! Surely not. I mean, it hasn’t even been a year yet…Well, to help keep your anxious feelings at bay, I have some preliminary information for you all.

First up, the Hair Fair Photo Contest! Like taking pictures? Perhaps you like free hair and early access to buy hair? Well, for a shot at winning your picture displayed at the Hair Fair, or even some free fatpacks or early access for you and your babes, you still have time to enter this fun contest! They’re super generous and allow you 5 submissions…that’s like increasing your chances of winning. You know, technically speaking. ♥

The theme this year is ‘Whatever the Weather’.  It’s super simple as all you need to do is snap an image of you with some spiffy hair as it relates to how you tough out, or enjoy, the weather.  Hair all wet from the rain? Or maybe you’ve just taken a dive in the ocean on a sunny day.  For those winter lovers, don’t you adore snowflake covered hair?  Capture it!

Continuing on…(yep there is more important and uber cool information!). Bandana Kits are available! All bandanas made will be exclusively sold for the duration of Hair Fair 2016 in preparation for the heart-warming Bandana Day.

Per tradition Bandana Day the last day of the Hair Fair.  Residents across the grid are invited to wear bandanas (sans-hair!), to show that we care and support all the extraordinarily brave kids represented by the charity. 100% of sales from the bandanas will be donated to Wigs for Kids.  Interested? I’m now listening to Don’t Hold the Wall – Justin Timberlake…isn’t it odd how my everyday songs just fit my outfits. Maybe because they’re both on the same level of oddness.

Anywho, this outfit is more simple than my usual, though odd enough to get a couple of glances, if that’s your thing. And of course, it’s so comfortable! -snuggles herself tightly in the cloth pixels-

Metal theme of this outfit, obviously, is silver! I hardly mix metals despite gliver not being completely illegal.

-Kimber then notices the gold buttons on her shoes- So I MAY have failed just a tiny bit with the metal theme but it’s all cool.

Little Bones. I love this hair and I wear it every chance I get cause turbans look nice on me! Dare I say this…their styles may be my new favorite in the future. We’ll see what happens. =x & then there’s Random.Matter. I have literally everything in their booth at Fashion Fair but I may need additional colors of these earrings. Too bad the Fashion Fair Sim probably has a waiting line cause these earrings are everything. They’re like tribal symbols or spiritual…something of the sort! They match my life.

Midi rings, midi rings, midi rings. These are from #ForeverFamous, this fairly new accessory store that is popping up in literally every event. I love Midi rings, though I usually wear them in gold. I’m not mad at the silver though. I appreciate the small details of the gems on some of the rings…oh and the fact they have slink and maitreya hands! *_* sorry Belleza peeps :c

Now, come closer. Closer I say! SHOEMINATI has created some mind blowing, at least in my mind, booties. It’s like a bootie and a sneaker rolled up into one. Or is my perception off? I’m not quite sure, I was hoping…these were unisex. Either way I pull them off real spiffy like, therefore, I give no cares.

I may need to wear silver more often…there’s not too much variety, as found in gold, which makes everything just blend together nicely! I mean have you ever heard of rose silver, antique silver, dark silver, light silver…or maybe you have?

Hi Daredolls & Daredevils,

I’m currently listening to Earned It by The Weekend. This song + this outfit go so well together. -snap snaps- for the instrumental cause I LOVE it! …Anywho, I’m not quite sure why I’m so impressed with this look…I’m just weird like that I suppose. Maybe I could have ditched the piano ring, but I needed the ring in my life. This outfit was my excuse.

Coming to FaMESHed this lovely February, is this super cute set from *Fishy Strawberry*. The Bejewelled dress and cardigan remind me of something I’d wear to tea time when I wanted to show up all my friends. But who am I kidding anyway? I don’t have tea time. I’m more like a Wednesday (Addam’s family reference). 🙂 The cardigan is optional and available for separate purchase. Each piece comes with a color hud to change the colors of the gems to your desired…well, color of course. For the dress, you’re able to customize the gems with up to 5 different colors. I’ve mixed black, bronze, white, and red on my dress to mold this look together. The cardigan has one gem stone color option for the “buttons”. Gem buttons…how creative are you Fae Eriksen :p ♥

On my freckled little head, I’ve put a large spider web. I mean why not? Who needs a proper veil now a days? Not I! (I can imagine weddings around the world with spider webbed veils…) The headpiece also includes a separate spider and web. This shall be available at the Fashion Fair starting this February.

Ah, and before I forget… these earrings. They’re so gorgeous. The tiny studs are heavenly detailed and I expect nothing less from MANDALA. The entire SHIPPOAH set is by far my favorite from this creator.

Last, but certainly not least, I had to put on these sunglasses by YUKO. They remind me of something vintage Hollywood! I thought of naming this look Vintage Hollywood Creep…but I didn’t. YUKO’s designer glasses are very cute with endless color combinations and I cannot wait for more releases!

Hi Daredolls & Daredevils! (Yes, I have created names for you all! Daredolls for the lovely ladies and Daredevils for you gents who may enjoy looking at my posts :3). Let’s see how this writing on a post goes…It has been well over a week now without a post…but I’m here right now and that’s all that matters! I’ve been slacking due to RL; not just on posts, but in purchases as well. Shocking, I know! For once, I did not go crazy spending at all of these fantastic events. Next month will probably be a different story, but let us not speak about that just yet :3

First thing you may notice, aside from my the handsome Foofie -pinches cheeks-, is that I’m looking quite Blasian. My Blasian self is Vivienne. Yes, yessss I have invested in a new applier for my head (TMP – Babydoll — which I hardly wear…I probably will now). This is [theSkinnery]‘s Yukiko – Mocca. I immediately tped to the store as soon as the full release was available as pre-releases are, sadly, never available in my skin tone. I love this skin! Now I just need some freckles and I’d be #flawless. -snaps fingers- the world just wouldn’t be ready. 😡

Styling this post was quite the event…I made around 5 complete outfits before I found something that worked with the hair I really wanted to wear. I’ll probably blog those another time or just prance around the grid in them.

I really like the concept of this shirt. It’s sheer but covers the bits! Unfortunately, I could not find it in the store. The store building is under construction (I believe), so maybe it will re-appear sometime after the finalization of the store. If I happen to see it again, I’ll add the slurl!

But let us (lettuce :x) talk about these accessories! Mainly these shoes…-takes a moment of silence-. I love Glamistry and the little trinkets on the the side are just more bits of cuteness. The shoes come for SLink, Maitreya, and Belleza Feet! Mega plus!

In regard to the earrings, I’ve always adored these and I don’t wear them as much as I should. You aren’t able to see due to my hair, but they’re not the same length…which now I’m not quite sure of the reason I’m even mentioning it…therefore, for the sake of this post, I have on one earring that I find rather edgy. 🙂

The bag is from one of my favorite stores, Pixicat. The studs, however, were originally silver. I tinted them to be more of a dark gold to match the earrings. It is not often that I wear purses. I only wear them in images because in-world they’re just thrown around with my overly active AO.

Lastly, let me type about the fact that I’m wearing a hat. This hat is from [Shoeminati]. I don’t usually wear hats…the reason for this being hats just don’t work with mesh hair unless the hat is huge! There are a few hat friendly hairs out there, but maybe not enough (or maybe I haven’t discovered them). A trick is slightly tilting it to the side; or even upward depending on your hairstyle. You’ll get a nice look in the front, but the back will provoke concerning questions.

Dare I say this: I like voluminous & luxurious locks and it’s a crime to wear fitted caps, snapbacks, beanies…lions and tigers…bears….on with the credits!
